Gerard Duca
Advisory Team
Gerard Duca is the Lead Physical Therapist for the Half Hollow Hills Central School District, where he has spent over 25 years supporting students with a wide range of disabilities in inclusive educational settings. Previously, he served as Lead Physical Therapist for the Pediatric Traumatic Brain Injury and Children’s Specialty Rehabilitation Units at St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson, NY.
Gerard earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University Health Sciences Center and also holds degrees in Finance and Accounting. Before entering healthcare, he worked as a Commodities and Trade Practice Analyst at the New York Mercantile Exchange.
He has been an active fundraiser for Beyond Our Borders, supporting the development of medical centers in rural Ghana and facilitating pro bono surgical care for children from Ghana and El Salvador. Gerard has been married to his wife, Annie, for 29 years. They are the proud parents of two daughters, Julia (22) and Sydney (17).
