I’m not sure who’s idea it was to distribute the LifeVac devices to each SMA family but it was the best thing ever! With expenses through the roof, I never invested in one. I always said I would but I was being negligent and kept putting it off. Then we received one from y’all. And tonight I was so incredibly glad that I filled out that form to get one a year or so ago. I had it ready to go and tonight we had to use it on our 5 year old son with SMA type 2. He choked on French fries. We thought it was such a safe food but it was fast and luckily the LifeVac was quick to use and kept in an accessible spot. Tonight could’ve ended so much differently. Thanks for looking out for us. CureSMA does so much for us and I’m so incredibly thankful to everyone there.Â
Food Drive Donations
I know I can speak for Pam and the entire Lawrence School District community when I say thank you from the bottom of our hearts! These contributions are extremely meaningful, and we are very grateful for the opportunity to offer these meals to those in need within our Scoutreach programs.Â
